Engineering – Minecraft EDU

Join us and experience the best of Minecraft EDU with Engineering for Kids. Minecraft EDU is a version of Minecraft designed for the classroom allowing teachers to teach a multitude of curriculum in a structured environment. At Engineering for Kids, we developed our own worlds and curriculum hosted on our own servers to utilize Minecraft as a virtual teaching tool to teach engineering in a safe and controlled environment. Students will work on PC Laptops (which we will provide). In addition, our curriculum will accommodate both students that are brand new to Minecraft as well as experienced users of Minecraft. Each of our worlds have different engineering objectives requiring students to work in groups collaboratively to solve, design, build, and improve different challenges. Some examples include learning about civil and industrial engineering through developing systems to connect separate landmasses, learning about aerospace engineering through designing and building a rocket, learning about mechanical and electrical engineering through building habitats on the moon among other lessons and challenges students will encounter. Get ready to put on your engineering hat and jump into Minecraft EDU to explore mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, and so much more!
