Einstein Math Club

Registration is opening for the 2024 math club.  The math club will participate in the Math Is Cool competition which is open to students in 4th and 5th grade.

Registration deadline: Wednesday January 31 2024 10PM

• Teams of 3-4 students compete. REGISTER FOR THE TOURNAMENT HERE.   Encourage your student to find team members within their class. Each team is limited to having students from the same grade and will have one parent lead who we will communicate with. 
• If your child needs help with forming a team, please email us with their name and grade and we will try to find matches. Email matclub@einsteinptsa.org 
• As the parent lead you will be responsible for paying the registration fee of $64 per team through the Einstein PTSA Registration Page. 
• Success Funds are available for this program.  Cost should not be a barrier to participating.  Email Mr. Ren at bren@lwsd.org for more information.

    11:40 - 11:55	Triple Jump (10 questions, 3 submittals, 15 min.)

• Math club will host a session for all the teams explaining rules, format and providing guidance on resources to be used for preparation on February 2nd at 5PM over Zoom.  Link for the meeting will be sent out to families who register.

 Math is cool is an in-person team competition for 4th and 5th grade with different types of competitions occurring through the day. More details for the competition can be found at the Math is cool website.  DO NOT register directly through Math Is Cool.  They are very clear that they want one point person for the whole school.  Our Math Club Chair with register everyone for the tournament.
