Student Recognition Awards

Einstein students get recognized this year while learning valuable Life Skills throughout the year.

1. Otter POP (Principal's Outstanding Performance) Award will be awarded to one student from each class each month nominated by their classroom teacher. This award is for a student that has demonstrated Outstanding Performance in the classroom as defined by the classroom teacher.

2  Life Skills - At the beginning of each month, the Life Skill for the month will be announced and as a staff we will be recognizing students modeling this behavior.  Each student will get a Life Skills passport for the year, and at the end of each month, students will get a life skill sticker to put on their passport. At the end of the year, the school will print Life Skills Certificates for students who have complete passports. For students who don't make it during the month, it will give them an opportunity to demonstrate it by June so hopefully all students can earn their Life Skills Certificate!

3. Golden Shoe Award,  "You Make My Heart Sing" Music Award, Dewey Readmore Library Award - Each Month, the Specialists will be awarding an award to one class for exceeding expectations in their class. The winning class will proudly display their award in their classroom until the next winner is announced at the following assembly.

Don't forget that you can send an email to our principal Jtobin@lwsd.org to nomiate a staff member that has gone above and beyond, so he/she can be recognized at the monthly Assembly.

Life Skills Monthly Theme

Teachers integrate the Life Skill monthly theme and vocabulary into their classrooms every month and acknowledge students who have shown characteristics of the life skill. Teachers adjust the lessons and discussions to fit different ages. In the lower grades, a lot of our new social studies curriculum ties into these life skills.
