Have a Great Idea but Need Funds?
The Einstein PTSA is again pleased to announce our Otter Grant Program. Parents, teachers or staff members can submit a grant application to fund projects, programs or materials that would benefit the students at our school. Program guidelines cover everything you want to know about the process. Applications are due February 13.
Einstein Book Fair is Back!!
Starting Monday January 30th in the Einstein Library a short book fair will be taking place. The book fair will be going on until February 1st and will be open at lunch recess and until 4:00 pm. We have had great support from our community for our book fairs and our library has really benefited. Stop by and see what's new for spring.
LWSD Superintendent Update: Meet the Preferred Candidate and Provide Input
The Board of Directors of the Lake Washington School District unanimously voted to put forward Dr. Traci Pierce, the district's deputy superintendent, as its preferred candidate for superintendent. The board is introducing Dr. Pierce to the community through a series of public events and asking for input on her candidacy. Details here. The successful candidate will replace the departing Dr. Chip Kimball, who becomes superintendent of the Singapore American School on July 1.
