  • Registration Dates

Opens December 16th @ 10 am

  • Eligibility: Any Einstein Student in grades 2, 3, 4, and 5  
  • Time Commitment: 

    Auditions: February 7 (4-5:30) and Feb 10 (4:00 – 5:30)

    Full Read Through: February 12th (ALL CALLED)**

    Rehearsals: Mondays (4:00 – 5:30) & Wednesdays (2:30-4:30), Feb 19th - April 3rd

    Tech week: Wednesday, April 2 – Friday, April 4 (5:30 – 8:30) at Redmond Middle School**

    Performances: Saturday, April 5 ( 2 & 6 pm) at Redmond Middle School**

    **Denotes required attendance dates** (Absolutely no absences)
  • Parent Commitment: Parent support is vital to the success of this production! As a parent, your commitment includes the following:
  • Fee: $268 (Students will also be required to have black, jazz-style shoes for the performance)
  • Payment: Payment is made through online registration via a credit card.
  • Cancellations: For a refund, all cancellations must be requested by January 19th (as per policy). Please email drama@einsteinptsa.org with the cancellation request. **No refunds given after cast assignments are made!**
  • Scholarships: Available to those in need. For more information, please contact drama@einsteinptsa.org
  • Note: Not all students will be called and required to attend every rehearsal. Due to the nature of theatre, there can be a lot of passive waiting time. Student are expected to be respectful of those rehearsing and have a quiet, independent activity to work on while not on stage.

 

Important Dates

Registration Dates:  December 16th at 10am - January 4th at 11:59pm 

Parent Meeting: TBD  via TEAMS  We'll talk through what auditions will be like and the expectations for the students and parents for participation in the play. 

Auditions:  Friday, February 7th and Monday, February 10th, 4-5:30pm (Only half of the group will be called for each audition day. Students will receive their audition date roughly two weeks in advance. Please keep students at home that are not called.) **NOTE: If you student has registered and paid, they are Guaranteed a part in the play. Auditions are to assist the director with making cast assignments. Students should prepare a short poem and song to present to the directors.**

Cast Assignments and Read Through: Wednesday, February 12th, 2:30-4:30pm*

Rehearsals: Mondays (4-5:30pm) and Wednesdays (2:30-4:30pm) in Mrs. Lindgren’s Room and the Gym

Dress Rehearsals: Wednesday, April 2nd, Thursday, April 3rd and Friday April 4th, 6:30-8pm at Redmond Middle School*

Teaser (mini performance for Einstein students): TBD

Performances: Saturday, April 5th, performances start at 2:00pm and 6pm at Redmond Middle School*

Wrap-Up Party: Monday, April 7; 4-5pm in Einstein Gym
