Friday, March 21st

The Science Expo is coming up this Friday, March 21st, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Einstein Gym and Commons! We hope to see you there for a fun-filled, family event!
  • Browse student displays
  • Participate in hands-on science experiments
  • Learn from outside demonstrators
    • Seattle Universal Math Museum
    • Nature Vision
    • Seattle Astronomical Society
    • Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery
    • Insect Safari
  • Attend the Living Wax Museum of Scientists featuring some of Einstein’s 4th and 5th grade students.

If your student is completing an experiment or research project, everything you need to know is located here: https://einsteinptsa.org/Page/Family_Events/ScienceExpo#
PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE GUIDELINES FOR ALL DISPLAY BOARDS, LOCATED ON THE WEBSITE! THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES ARE ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT THE NIGHT OF THE EXPO:
  • Please DO NOT show models, materials, devices, and samples that relate to the project or experiment in front of the display. Instead, please attach ONLY PHOTOGRAPHS OR SMALL ITEMS to the display board.
  • Students will not personally present or demonstrate their project on the night of the Expo. All projects will be “Display Only.” Students can voluntarily stand by their project and explain their learning, but this is not required.
  • Display boards are brought to school the morning of the Expo, Friday, March 21st. THEY CAN BE PLACED IN THE HALLWAY NEXT TO THE OFFICE, WHERE THE LOST & FOUND IS USUALLY LOCATED. The board can be brought home when your family leaves the Expo that night or the next school day.

Lastly, we NEED volunteers to help make the Expo a success! Please consider signing up to help with parking, help run an experiment table, clean up, etc. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080845AAA82CA4FA7-55393877-science#/
